Looking for something a little different? Step into a space where slowing down is the point, and you don’t need a plan, or any art experience, to join.
Mindful Art for Wellness is a relaxed, welcoming gathering where we explore simple creative practices paired with mindfulness. Think of it as a chance to breathe, reflect, and be curious about yourself, your life, and whatever shows up on the page. As our instructor says, “Mindful art means to collaborate with chance… curiosity is in the moment.” – Ann Marie Smith, Instructor
Each class offers a new prompt or theme, gently guiding you through art-making and breathing exercises designed to reduce stress, support emotional wellness, and invite connection. You can come solo or bring a friend. Ages 16+, open to all.
Offered in partnership with NAMI Glendale, this event is pay-what-you-want—choose $0, $10, $15, $25, or another amount that feels good to you. Your contribution supports art materials and helps us keep these community-based wellness experiences going. You’re welcome either way.

If AI has started to feel fast, loud, and full of jargon, this practical, hands-on evening will help you make sense of machine intelligence.
Every week brings a new AI tool, headline, or acronym people seem to expect you to understand. Agents. Prompts. LLMs. It can feel like everyone else somehow got the memo first.
If you’ve wondered, “Am I behind… or is this all getting unnecessarily weird?” you’re not alone.
The Art of Intelligence is designed to cut through the hype, jargon, and tech theater. Through live demos, conversation, and hands-on interaction, you’ll explore how machine intelligence can become a practical thinking partner — helping you clarify ideas, explore creativity, and navigate decisions without replacing your own judgment or voice.
No coding.
No doom lectures.
No pretending to understand acronyms.
You’ll experience voice-based AI, custom GPTs, and practical ways to engage machine intelligence more naturally.
Bring your curiosity, your skepticism, and your real questions.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what machine intelligence is, a practical way to begin using it, and the sense that this technology can be more intuitive — and more interesting — than you expected.
